2026 Board Nomination Form
    Per the Magee Chamber of Commerce Bylaws, the Nominating Committee is accepting applications for the 2026 Board of Directors. The Board of Directors consists of 15 members. The Board of Directors meet not less than once a month, and all members of the Board of Directors are expected to attend this meeting and other Chamber functions, as well as volunteer their time and energy for various Chamber projects.  Board members are expected to serve as positive leaders of the community. 

    The Board member must be a member in good standing in the Magee Chamber of Commerce.  The Board of Directors shall adopt rules for conducting the business of the chamber.

    We encourage our members to apply.  Applicants are selected by an Election Committee based upon service in the Chamber as well as background and experience.   Directors are presented for election to the current board at the February General Membership Meeting. Seating of the new board will take place at the annual membership meeting in March with the newly elected directors being announced at the annual Chamber banquet.

    Unfortunately, due to limits, we may not be able to accept every applicant, but we encourage you to apply if you are interested. All applications should be submitted to the Magee Chamber of Commerce Office no later than February 4, 2026. The application can be submitted via email to [email protected] .

    Eligibility Requirements:
    Must be a current Chamber member in good standing Must have held chamber membership for at least one year Board Term:
    3 year commitment beginning April 2026.

     A Successful Magee Chamber Board Member:
    Possesses strong ethics and a demonstrated commitment to business and community growth
    Actively participates in monthly board meetings and serves as a liaison on at least one committee
    Represents the Chamber positively in public and online
    Helps develop and implement strategic plans for Chamber growth
    Supports member recruitment and retention
    Assists with fundraising and Chamber event success
    (If not the owner, CEO, or President) Has approval from their company's executive leadership to serve.
