Pretty in Pink, Gloria Lucas, owner of the McAlpin House and hostess of Tea in the Gardens visiting with our friends from Collins.
Mr. and Mrs.Rabbit greeted guests at the door of the McAlpin House. Mrs. Rabbit's gown is the gown of Mrs. Marilyn Schuster Rusovich, Queen of
the Krewe of Mystery Ball of 1956. The strapless gown is made of shimmering
white satin trimmed in white fur. Thousands of Austrian crystal rhinestones and
silver beading, all hand applied, sweep and swirl in floral patterns on the
bodice and skirt of the gown. Triple strands of Austrian crystal rhinestones
trail down the back of the gown and onto the train.
